Pomona to Jojoba Hills

While the folks at Nagco Glass replaced a window, we had breakfast at a nearby drive-in that advertised themselves as the “best breakfast in Pomona”. It was okay, but if it’s the best, Pomona is in trouble! By mid-morning we were on our way down I-15, with incredible displays of orange wildflowers on the hillside. Our destination is Jojoba Hills – the Escapees RV Park where Sarah Blackwood and Pete McEnna hang out when they’re not on the road. It’s in the desert hills east of Temecula, where Escapee club members have created a pleasant oasis. Andy Mulholland and Mary Girdano, fellow Lazy Daze owners from Tulsa, arrived a few days earlier. We got settled then headed into Temecula for a fun Mexican Dinner with another couple, Mike and Lisa Sylvester.
